Our work as an education charity for children in Africa, Asia and Europe: discover our approach and our programs.

Apprentis d’Auteuil, started by a priest who took to his heart to help underprivileged children, has been an influential charity in France for 150 years. We have been working as an international children charity from 1986 when Father Gabriel initiated a cooperation program with African and Middle Easters countries. Since that year, Apprentis d’Auteuil International set up various projects all over the world, helping 50,000 children and their families in need, and participate in the creation of international publications with the United Nations and other organizations. Our world education program has encountered huge success and we were able to make a difference for disadvantaged youth in about 50 countries with the help of our operational partners. Let us tell you more about some of our projects that are currently being developed.

Family support and education charity in Morocco

In Morocco, for example, Apprentis d’Auteuil International has set up two programs to help underprivileged families and youth. With the support of local organizations Al Karam and El Khir, we set up a center with nursery for families in poverty which will soon be followed by another care institution. As an international children charity, we firmly believe that we can help children by first helping their families, so we strive to improve the existing parental support and provide education to young parents so that they can take care of their families.
We are also present as an education charity in Casablanca: as Morocco has a large population of young people, unemployment has become a serious issue. Apprentis d’Auteuil currently provides apprenticeships and support in professional integration for about 300 people with the help of 30 professional coaches.

International children charity for homeless children

Our world education program also takes into consideration children in street situations in different areas of the world. Two projects are currently being developed in Congo and in Madagascar to help these marginalized children to continue their education and maybe even be reintegrated into their families.
These projects are still ongoing and you can help us to fund them, get to know more about them at out projects to fund page.
