
Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil International (FAAI)
Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil International (FAAI) (formerly Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil Suisse - FAAS) was created in 2013 in order to support the development of Apprentis d’Auteuil's international programme.
Our missions
- Support the international work of Apprentis d’Auteuil
- Act as an advocate for young people in difficulty and vulnerable families at an international level mainly with the United Nations (UN) and its agencies (Apprentis d’Auteuil obtained ECOSOC consultatif status in 2014).
- Develop projects in Switzerland in the field of childhood protection, professional training and insertion
Apprentis Auteuil International supports projects worldwide around priority points which are:
- protection and support to street children,
- training insertion and entrepreneurship
- Accompanying Families
- Multiculturalism
Beneficiaries for the past year
- 15,000 young people, including 9,000 from the streets
- 4,400 families
- Almost 300,000 young people in the world when you include our partners network

- Educational and extracurricular support for young people in difficulty in Geneva (after school support, cultural and sports activities)
- Application Restaurant in Geneva (La Salle à Manger) – prospection phase with Swiss partners
Around the world
- Bolivia, Congo Republic, Mali, Perou, Cameroon, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar: Care, education and schooling programmes for Street Children in support centres.
- Bolivia, Perou, Morocco, Cameroon, Mali, The Democratic Republic of Congo: Integration of young people through tailored training programmes fitting their needs and the markets requirements.
- Perou, Cameroon, Mali, The Democratic Republic of Congo: Family Support programmes.
